The guesthouse is 45 min from the airport of Alicante, and 20 minutes from the coast. The closest coastal town is the very traditional town "La Vila Jojoisa".
From the guesthouse to Sella is 2.5 kms by car or a 5-minute walk. The village restaurants and bars serve a variety of local dishes at local prices. Sella has a local market 2 times a week.
How to get to us?
If you fly to Alicante: You can rent a car or get our shuttle service to the farm.
If you rent a car, Carjet are pretty good: (www.carjet.com). If you are a large group it is better to use our transfers.
Directions from Airport:
Here are some instructions as to how to get to us. We are 3km's out of the village of Sella.
From the airport take the A7 direction Alicante/Valencia
Go through the toll on A7, then exit at the Vila Jojosa exit. (next exit after entering 30km)
As you exit the Toll 100m - roundabout, go right in direction Orcheta and Sella. (Sella ±15km)
Pass through Ocheta and do not turn off at any turn.
On reaching Sella, pass the restaurant H'ort de Catali and at the next turn (100m) turn right.
300m reach t-junction turn right again. (see the berlin wall in front of you)
600-800m take the only turning to the right (a little dust road, also a small sign saying chaquer 27)
400-500m pass over bridge the road is now asphalt again, pass picnic area, - 100m arrive at Y intersection and turn right.
1.5-2 km's, pass electrical pylon and then take the next cement road to the right (5m) (our driveway)
100m reach Hort de Gloria.
From the village is no more than 3.7 km's, if you pass this you are lost!

Climate
The coastal climate of Valencia is very mild with average max. temperatures in winter of 13 C, and an average mean temperature in summer of 29C. The generally sunny conditions give moderate temperatures during the day, even in winter, although as soon as the sun disappears temperatures can drop quickly. Walking in summer is not recommended as temperatures can soar to 35C.
