          How to explain the pleasure, even before it reaches the taste buds!
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          I must say in my case, my smell sense must be quite developed, not sure if this happens to all people, but i almost prefer the smell then the eating... (mainly because i have a terrible stomach, so i can smell as much as i want and i don't have a sore stomach!!!!)
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          But really the pleasure to smell something that makes your mouth water with anticipation, how wonderful: preparing bake veggies, herbs, garlic or onion slowly frying in a pan,  baking a bread or a cake, hot chocolate, Ummmh!
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          To realise we have that pleasure often, more so, then most people that inhabit our beautiful earth, should makes us feel so good, special but i think most people don't appreciated it, and mostly just expect it.
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          The smells of food, also take you to another place, time and era: it is a "time machine" to memory lane, a hope for happiness &amp;amp; fulfilment of desire, a place of comfort, were often we have hidden our pain &amp;amp; suffering, or our happiness and love!
          &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Take the time to transform the food, enjoy the company &amp;amp; be grateful, as one day this may be a thing of the past.
          &#xD;

  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

          How quick one forgets about the phisical and emotional damage, the fire made in our lives. Grateful to still to have a home, and a way to make a living.
           &#xD;

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Still the scars surface every day, to remind us of the frail existence we carry on this earth. Mother earth always seams to recover. To create beauty and life.

  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

           Think positively

    &lt;/font&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div&gt;&#xD;

          The lockdown
         &#xD;
  &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          Most of us have been in
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           lockdown
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          for the better part of 2 years, by now, and when i say most of us: I MEAN MOST OF THE PLANET!!! and do you all realise it is probably the
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           first time in
           &#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            the h
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           istory
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          of the world, that we have all done this: Stuck at home, yes! waiting for something to happen.
         &#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          On a positive note if you are sitting at home, you are one of the lucky ones:
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           "YOU HAVE A HOME"
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          and your job, if you still have one - it is not a dangerous job, such a cleaner or doctor to name some of the millions, that have to go out everyday. (such a shame when they came to talk to us about careers, they did not mention the dangers in times of a pandemic)
          &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          We are doing something that we would probably not do for any other reason then self-preservation (obviously destroying our environment: the
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           EARTH
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          ,
is not that important!).
           &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          So as i was saying: once, the fear, excitement or boredom sets in and we have finished doing all the little jobs around the house that we had wished to do for the best part of our adult life,  but never had time for. We find ourselves, eating. Yes,
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           EATING!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          so much more then normal, all our routines are upside down,  so eating is not an exception.
           &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          So how do we not eat ourselves to death?
           &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          Here are some ideas:
         &#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           CONTROLLED SHOPPING!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;i&gt;&#xD;
      
           (quite easy as shops are out of most cool things!!)
          &#xD;
    &lt;/i&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          Go to the shops with a
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           shopping list
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          and stick to it (this is also quite easy as we are now on a tight budget!)
         &#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Plan a meal menu
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          , make sure to inspire yourself.
          &#xD;
    &lt;i&gt;&#xD;
      
           (easy!!! so many bloggers)
          &#xD;
    &lt;/i&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          Make loads of
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Healthy Snacks
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          to withstand cravings
          &#xD;
    &lt;i&gt;&#xD;
      
           (hide snacks or build a security gate to protect snacks): Fruit, Dried fruit &amp;amp; nuts are some easy things, i like making some Chocolate - Peanut butter bars.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/i&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          Accept the possibility of
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           extra
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          kilo's
          &#xD;
    &lt;i&gt;&#xD;
      
           (to combat this  stick to the apartment or house arrest exercise routine)
          &#xD;
    &lt;/i&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          Start a
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           HOME
           &#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            GARDEN
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      
           , this keeps you out of the snack cage and helps with the extra kilo's
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Remember this is the perfect opportunity to start
           &#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            new things
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      
           and give up on bad habits.
           &#xD;
      &lt;i&gt;&#xD;
        
            (hence the gate!!!)
           &#xD;
      &lt;/i&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Slow COOKING
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          , this time at home gives us the opportunity to cook the good old family recipes, wholesome &amp;amp; unrushed:
         &#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          old recipes are quite simple, and don't have many ingredients, going back to the basics and more healthy meals.
          &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          For me cooking is a routine that keeps the days filled and interesting.  I find it
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           relaxing
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          to put beans to soak, or preparing dough for bread, or finding a meal i had not done for years. 
           &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    
          Snacks (do not buy!!!,
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           YOU BUY ...YOU EAT
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          , i can not stress this enough! it is impossible to make a secure place, during weeks of quarantine!)
          &#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
